Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist, educate and guide patients through selection of flower, concentrates edibles and other products
- Interpret customers’ needs and wants and translate that into the best product for them
- Lead patients through the process of applying, renewing and receiving their medical marijuana card
- Assist with inventory intake, checking inventory levels, and processing received inventory
- Communicate with patients to effectively deescalate issues
- Check and report in the retail folder and Budtender Log at the start of every shift for pertinent information
- Responsible for accurate till management and cash drop with no variances larger than what is outlined in Budtender Policies and Procedures
- Learn and build your knowledge about all medical marijuana products offered and available
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
- Maintain Compliance with all policies and procedures
- Assist in any other department within Elevated
Education and Qualifications:
- Highschool diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with patients and employees
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments too completion within parameters of instructions given
- Ability to adapt to any issue that may arise
- Must have good decision-making skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Must have high energy level
- Must have ability to multi-task
- Must have excellent planning, problem solving, and teamwork skills
- Must have excellent cash handling ability
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand and work for 10+ hours
Job Type: Part & Full Time Opportunities (30-40hrs/wk)
Pay Range: $15-17 Hourly DOE
